Cobb County Officer Fired After Video Release

Greg Abbott, 20 year veteran of the Cobb County Police Department of the West Georgia region, was officially fired late Thursday afternoon due to a comment that he made during a routine traffic stop.

Abbott asked a passenger of the vehicle to why they refused to lower their hands during the stop and was answered with, “…I’ve seen too many videos of people of people killing people.” He answered, with, “but you’re not black. Remember, we only kill black people. Yeah. We only kill black people, right?”
